Our Favorite Self-Care Habits

SKINCARE ROUTINE
Something as simple as a 5 minute morning and evening skincare routine will change your life. Romanticize your skincare routine and make it a fun self-care moment. It doesn't have to be complicated. Even if you only have time for a morning ice roll, give your skin the attention it deserves. Don't know where to start? This is our fave set for beginners with all the essentials.
COLD/HOT THERAPY
We are and always will be obsessed with ice baths + sauna. We each have our own at home and use them religiously. There are so many benefits from bettering mental health to better sleep, beauty + metabolism benefits. The sauna opens detox pathways and reduces inflammation. Heat exposure also improves metabolic function. Pair the two together has done tremendous things for our overall energy, mood, immune systems, and metabolisms. Highly recommend but of course always consult your physician before exposure to extreme temperatures in either setting.
SUPPLEMENTS
I'm sure you have seen or heard us talk about our favorite daily supplements. We personally love Cymbiotika but some of our other favorite brands include Organifi and Vimergy. If you haven't already read our post on NMN, exit this post and read immediately. Anyone and everyone should be taking this! Of course we love Cymbiotika's glutathione + vitamin c daily dose packs as well.
MOUTH TAPING
If you haven't hopped on the mouth taping train - now is the time. Taping your mouth at night (you can literally use medical tape) has been shown to improve sleep quality, improve cognitive function, + reduce anxiety. Better sleep = increased energy. Mouth taping also has shown insane improvements in structuring your jawline.
DRY BRUSHING
Dry brushing is another simple 5 minute step to add to your pre-shower routine or really whenever you can squeeze it in. It is amazing for opening lymphatic drainage pathways, improves cellulite, improves circulation, exfoliates, relieves stress, and is overall so good for your skin. This is the dry brush I personally use. I start at my feet/legs and work my way up the body.
OUTDOOR EXERCISE
Prioritizing outdoor exercise is new for me but has been so helpful in my overall wellness + mood. Again, it can be something as simple as a fifteen minute walk around the block. Getting a natural source of vitamin d (during a time with low UV + sunscreen) is so good for your overall health. It's better to do in the morning to regulate hormones and your circadian rhythm.
MONTHLY FACIALS
We all prioritize our budgets and what we spend money on and this one for me is at the top of my list. I will always invest in my skin and for me this is something that is more than beneficial for my self-care routine. Our esti, Brynlee, is amazing and listens to your concerns and dives deep into the root cause of each concern. She is also now offering a facial gym add on - if you haven't tried you MUST! She is amazing.
